Sorry the website’s been
static for a few – okay, several – months. I’ve been
trying to totally revamp it, but it’s taking a bit longer
than I expected. (Ohmygod, I think I’m even going to have a
blog! And a poll with questions I want to ask you. And a
forum you can participate in. And more photos. And other
neat … stuff.) So please check back to see my new
cyber-home, and to sign up for my e-mail postcard reminders
of book releases.
But until then, here’s a
quick update of what’s happening in my writing world.
High Tea in Texas!
I will be the keynote
speaker at the 5th annual Buns and Roses Tea in
Richardson, Texas (a suburb of Dallas), on October 10,
2010. This is high tea, ladies, to raise money for the
Richardson literacy programs. It’s being held at the
Renaissance Hotel in Richardson on Sunday, Oct. 10th
from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Check out their beautiful website at
bunsandroses.org, and see if you might want to come
join me and twenty other romance authors for a wonderful –
and I was promised, memorable – afternoon.
Pocket After Dark
Just can’t get enough
romance? Check out your favorite Pocket authors and meet
some new ones at
PocketAfterDark.com, and join other romance readers
at the hippest new hangout on the web.
Dragon Warrior
(Book Two in Midnight Bay Series)
I know. I know. It’s
been a very long wait for William and Maddy’s story, and you
have all been so very patient. Thank you for that. But due
to scheduling problems, Dragon Warrior’s release date
has been pushed back a wee bit to January 28, 2011. (Yes, I
know; that seems like forever, but I promise it will be
worth the wait! I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun
with two people. William is … well, William. And
Maddy is just the woman to match him, in all ways …
if you catch my drift. Then, come the end of June 2011,
Mystical Warrior comes out. In book three of my
Midnight Bay Series you’ll get to meet Trace Huntsman and
Fiona Gregor (Matt and Kenzie’s 11th century
sister, not baby Fiona from A Highlander Christmas).
And you will also meet Maximilian Oceanus, a brand new
magic-maker. Oh boy, are you going to love Mac; only
instead of being a drùidh, the man is one big, scary,
powerful wizard!
The Sinclair Brothers
Thanks for all your lovely
letters about The Man Must Marry and Tempt Me If
You Can. As for Jesse Sinclair’s story … well, I’m
writing as fast as I can! Only I haven’t been able to find
the right woman for Jesse just yet – but I promise I’m
looking really, really hard! And when I meet her, I’ll be
sure to introduce you to her right along with Jesse.
But honestly? Mac is … um
… insisting that I write his story next. (Did
I mention he’s big and scary and powerful?) So watch for my
new Spellbound Falls Series coming in the fall of
2011, which moves the magic back up to the mountains. I
think you’ll like that several folks you already know from
Pine Creek and Midnight Bay will be dropping by for a visit
– and one or two of them might even hang around long enough
to fall in love.
I mean really;
Maine is such a magical place!
